GET THEM OUT OF MY HOUSE.
Pavement Ants
Like most ants, sugar attacks them, but pavement ants like meats, and greasy foods.
This ant species will have battles to death. Pavement ants will return to the battleground over and over until a colony has established dominance.
Rover Ants
These very tiny insects (as small as one-sixth of an inch in size) can range in color from dark brown to pale blonde and sometimes congregate in large numbers inside on the lid of your honey or top of your sugar jar.
Crazy Ants
Instead of marching in a straight line like most ants, crazy ants move in a non-predictable pattern. Reddish-brown in color and about one-eighth of an inch long and are most common in Florida, and throughout the South. With a taste for sugar and electronics, they like to nest in circuits to keep warm.
What are ants doing in my house?
Ants more commonly come indoors in summer. Most insects are more active in the warmer months.
During dry spells, they will occasionally come inside in search of water.
You may see them in bathrooms or other humid parts of the house.
